Thursday's Thoughts

• Lately, I have been a huge slacker in the blog world. I am still trying to find the motivation and slowly, its coming to me. 
• I have a couple handmade trades that I'd like to do, that is if anyone is interested. 
• Evangelina and I have been doing a lot of painting lately. Its so relaxing, well, at least when she isn't extremely demanding. haha.
• I have come to the conclusion that Evangelina is 3 going on 15. She definitely has an attitude of a teenager. 
• The hubs and I will be going to Cincinnati on Saturday to visit his cousin Carlitos, who is traveling with the Monkeys! How awesome is that?! Last year he traveled with Heart. I would love to go on tour with a band! It would be so much fun!
• I need to find a great diet...I am so unhappy with my weight, but I just can't find the motivation. I have a feeling that the lack of motivation has been a bought of depression. 
• I wish I had something more interesting to talk about but unfortunately I don't. The family and I have just been hanging out around the house, but hopefully after Saturday I will have more to talk about. 
• Oh remember the newest addition to our family?

• Anyway, Charger is terrified of Evangelina for some odd reason. Maybe its her volume or her crazy erratic behavior towards him. Who knows. Any time that Evangelina gets close to him he decides to climb up my back to get away from her. It is quite funny, but I feel awful that he is scared of her. I hope it fades away as her gets older.

Charger is the biggest scaredy cat ever, but I still love him.

Anyway, its time for me to go get ready for work.

Thursday's Thoughts.

• Today is my step-dad's birthday. I don't talk much about him, but I should. He's a wonderful man and he has always been there for my mom, sister, and I. Sure we had our fair share of head butts, but what family doesn't. I am so proud to call him my step-dad. And I am so excited to spend the afternoon with him today. 
• The sun is shining and I can't wait to take Evangelina outside to play! 
• I am totally enjoying this one week free hulu subscription on the xbox. I think it might be a great investment. Especially, since I tend to miss Glee.
• I have so many ideas that I can't wait to get started on. I just need to find some time.
• I can't believe Mother's Day is this Sunday! I have a feeling that May is going to speed on by just like January, February, March and April had. Eek. This whole year is just going to fly by. I can't stand it. 
• I need more hours in the day. That would make the days go by just a bit more slower, right? haha.
• Glee just makes me miss singing and performing. I miss it so much. Thank goodness that I have a full length mirror and a hair brush so that I can sing and dance by myself. haha.  Yes, I'm that strange.
• I am so excited that Bartering Blogger is up and running! Ashely has been working really hard on getting the lists updated. So head on over there and check out what people are bartering with!

• I am looking for a fresh start and what better day to do it than today. 
• I have been kind of a lousy friend lately. I have been too busy wallowing in my own problems and haven't had the want to pick up the phone or computer to talk to some good friend. So to those good friends that I have been MIA with, please forgive me. I love you all and I think about you everyday.
• Yesterday, i broke down and had the hubs cut my hair. He didn't do a terrible job. It actually looks pretty nice. However, I do feel like a 10year old. 

How's it look? I trimmed my bands. I'm not sure if I need to go shorter or not.

This 'do definitely makes me feel younger.

• I am thinking about dying it this weekend. A part of me wants to go lighter, way lighter, like blonde. But the hubs thinks I should go dark. I'm not quite sure what to do. What do you think? I love the red, but I'm not sure how well it goes with some of my outfits. haha.
• I am so excited about May! So many great things are going to happen. However, its still going to be a bit tough for the hubs and I in the financial department, but I think I am finally starting to see the silver lining. 
• My schedule for work next month is full time. I hope that I can still find the time for blogging, etsy, and friends. I don't know how some people do it. When I get home from work all I want to do is cuddle with the hubs and daughter. 
• I really need to finish my owl tattoo because I want to start a new one. I really want to start my back piece, but I'm thinking it would be best to wait until after summer. That way I don't ruin it with all my sun bathing...hahaha yeah that doesn't exist.
• Oh and did I mention I am scheduled to work on Evangelina's 3rd birthday!!! Ahh I am such a bad Momma! I hope that someone will trade with me. I can't believe it! I couldn't even ask for it off because its my weekend to work. I will have to twist someone's arm! Or bribe them! Or blackmail! I am open for suggestions on good techniques.
• I'm a slacker. I should be doing something productive here at work. Like rocking a baby, doing a hearing screen or making up information packets, but there are no babies to rock and I haven't really checked the packets. I still have 8 hours left. I will have plenty of time to do those if they need done.
• I should have brought some crocheting or embroidery to work on. My shop is getting so low on goodies.
• I shouldn't drink diet coke anymore..it makes my belly hurt. I think its all the carbonation. Stupid Diet Coke.
• I haven't had caffeine all week or diet coke. Now I'm kind of wired, but I'm sure I will hit my high fast and then my low even faster.
• Okay, I should seriously get off here and go do some work...maybe I'll just go draw a picture. :D Like a made up birthing brochure. The do's and don'ts. Or a redneck pregnancy manual...ooh that's a great idea! Considering we have plenty of those around here.

Thursday's Thoughts

• Doesn't this kitten just melt your heart? I totally want one. i wonder if Evangelina can talk the hubs into letting us get one.
• Its 4:30am and I would much rather be curled up in bed catching some more Z's than up and getting ready for work! This is ridiculous! 
• I had some really weird/awful dreams last night. Some doctor was trying to kill me. Eek. What's that mean in dreamology? (I don't know if that's what the study of dreams is called, but it works for me.)
• Boy, I want that kitten! I keep looking at it and my heart just melts a bit more every time.
• 12 hours of work is going to feel like eternity. What the heck am i going to do with 12 hours of work today?
• I wish I liked coffee because I could totally use some caffeine right now. 
• I absolutely can't stand when i go to bed sweating and I wake up freezing. Okay, well I did go to bed chilly last night, woke up half way through sweating and then this morning I wake up to a freezing house. I had to turn the heat back on so that I wouldn't freeze my hoo-ha off while showering.
• I finally started my period and let me tell you...its killer this time. I mean the cramps aren't so so horrible. Its the fatigue that's messing me up. Yesterday, I could barely stay awake. I hope that today isn't like that. 
• My stupid blow dryer doesn't blow hot air anymore. Its so annoying. So now I freeze while I blow dry my hair. Not to mention, it takes double the time to dry my mop now. Thankfully, I let my hair air dry most of the time, but today I don't have enough time to do that. 
• Okay, this kitten is too cute for words. I want it so bad.
• I have been a major slacker on the blog scene lately. Its really because I have been extremely exhausted lately. I promise to come back and catch up soon! And I will be a comment queen! unfortunately, I can't do that today because of the 12 hour shift. Unless, I sneak some blog reading in there. Hmm...who knows.
• I am eligible for a phone up grade on June 3rd. Eek! I can't wait! Unfortunately, that is 2 days after my birthday! Ahh. I wonder if they will bump it up to June 1st? hmm. I really want the I-phone, but I'm still deciding between that or an Android. Which should I get?
• All the girls at work play Words With Friends and I am a huge scrabble fan, so I can't wait to take part in the fun! 
• I hope work goes by quickly today. 12 hours just feels like a lifetime!

• I cannot wait for the honeysuckle to start blooming! Its is quite possibly one of my favorite smells in the world. Its so heavenly.
• Why does my little terror enjoy making a huge mess with her yogurt? I mean really? Why must she stick her hands in her yogurt and paint the table with it??
• I miss my dear friend Ashley. She's been away in Jamaica for her wedding/ honeymoon and I can't wait to see all the beautiful pictures that I know she is taking.
• I am finally feeling a ton better! I don't know if its the medicine or if it is the knowing what's wrong, but whatever it is- its working.
• The sun is shining and it is so very inviting! I have a few things to get done before Evangelina and I can go out an enjoy it.
• Yesterday, I managed to cross off several things from my chore list, but not all of it
• I fear cleaning Evangelina's bedroom, who know's what I will find. She's a sneaky little one.
• I need to get the motivation to go to the gym more. If anyone has some motivation to spare please send some my way.
• I am thinking about doing a twitter giveaway later tonight! Who's down for that?
• I really need to get family pictures done soon! I have so many ideas for them this year. Soon!!!
• I am in desperate need for a girls night out. Who else?
• Oh and I believe its time for a dance party!!
• Yeah, I'm definitely feeling better! :D
• Laundry is my worse enemy. I loath it. I will wash and dry it, but when it comes to folding and putting it away-that's the worse. Anyone else feel this way?
• I can't believe that its my weekend to work again, but luckily I don't have work all three twelves. I only work Friday and Saturday night.

Thursday's Thoughts wk 8

• I really love this picture of us. I can't remember if I shared this with you or not. Its from a couple weeks ago when the weather was perfect.
• I am super excited about all the wonderful things that are going to be happening on the blog soon! 
• Like tomorrow is the first edition of Guess Who! (if you are interested in playing along e-mail me!)
• Lately, I have been pretty addicted to the television series Prison Break on Netflix. Its so great! And there is a certain someone with tattoos that I find delicious! Shh. don't tell my hubsy.
• I am so tired of this bipolar weather I need some sunshine!! 
• I have several things to do in the next few days and I am only hoping that I have enough time. 
• I almost forgot that I only have an 8 hour shift tonight and tomorrow night. Woot! Its amazing how different 4 hours can make. Its like a hole lifetime. haha.
• This weekend is the Celtic Festival! i'm pretty excited. My parents asked me to go with them!
• I guess there is someone there that can trace our lineage. That's awesome. I don't have much patience to do it myself, so if someone can do it for us that'd be pretty amazing!
• I am hoping that this weekend proves to be a crafty one. I am hoping to get several goodies in the shop ready for your buying pleasure. ;) haha
• I am really surprised my beautiful little terror is still asleep. Its almost 11am. She's such a sleepy head. 
• Of course, I would still be in bed if I allowed myself. 
• I blame it on the weather.

Thursday's Thoughts wk 5

• I want a cat. They don't chew up barbies, shoes, and paper. Plus, they are easier to cuddle with.
• I have been off work since last Thursday morning. I really don't want to go back to work, but this weekend I work with my favorite girls. Bring on midnight shift.
• I really want to redesign my blog, but I'm kind of at a loss. I want something eye catching but simple and organized. Hmm.
• I have been awful with my diet lately. Eek. Starting next week I am going to be super strict on it. I have 30 more pounds to lose before I'm extremely happy.
• how can I talk the hubs into getting a cat? Curse the creators of Pet Cemetery and their evil cat! 
• I really want to see Beastly and Red Riding Hood. I can't wait! 
• I need a vacation! Yes, I have been off of work for the past week, but it doesn't count...I need heat, preferably something tropical or something with neon lights!
• I wonder if I am going to get pregnant this month.
• I can't wait to write my first post for Love Without Training Wheels! I am so excited to be apart of this great blog. 
• I really can't wait to see who wins the giveaway I am hosting over on Chrissy's blog! 
• I desperately need to win the lottery or something. I know I say that all the time, but I'm for real! Either the lottery or I come up with a million dollar idea. 
• There are so many great things coming your way soon! So be on the look out!!
