Its basically a poetry championship and let me tell you I've never been really into poetry readings, but this was AMAZING! There were so many great poems and all of them were inspiring. I can't imagine standing up in front of so many people, I would be a wreck and I would be stumbling over all my words, but these kids were wonderful!
Here are a couple of my favorites!
This one brought a smile to my face!
These boys were awesome and it was nice change from some of the really deep, emotional poems.
You will have to turn the volume up for this one.
This one was extremely emotional. My heart broke as I listened to her.
I wish I could write half as beautifully as these people!
Now, I must go. My eyes are heavy and I feel like my fingers are getting lazy and slurring my typing together.Hope you all have a beautiful night!

I <3 poetry! I used to write alot in high school but I have let is fall by the side :( HBO also has randomly a poetry show for kids! It is amazing!!! I dvr'd it when it was on and the kids watched it like crazy!! I wish I could find it on dvd that would be awesome!
