oh me, oh my.

[]
I have a ginormous amount of chores to do today. I have been putting it off and off for sometime now. Mainly because I haven't felt well, but that's a lame excuse. The laundry doesn't stop piling up, the dust doesn't stop layering and the dog hair doesn't vacuum its self. I've got so much that i want to get done today, so I hope my energy stays with me.

Today's To Do List:
  • organize the bedroom
  • organize my craft supplies
  • organize Evangelina's room
  • organize the bathroom
  • get dinner in the crock pot
  • vacuum the whole house
  • dust
  • wash and dry the mountain of laundry
  • mop the bathroom and kitchen
I hope there is enough hours in the day to get through this list.

Yesterday, I had a doctors appointment with my gyno because I have been having a lot of pain. Excruciating pain. She did the normal work up and then proceeded to send me to ultrasound to see what my plumbing was up to. I found out that I have a large cyst on my right ovary that is giving me some trouble. She said we can assume that I have PCOS. Now, is assuming diagnosing?? I'm not sure. I mean I have several of the symptoms, minus the development of male sex characteristics. Thank God. That would be so awful! Anyway, she prescribed me some Metfromin and told me we'd meet up in 4 to 6 weeks for another ultrasound and check up. I just would like a straight answer. Enough beating around the bush.
The good news is that my blood pressure was great! Which was awesome considering I was a nervous wreck while waiting in the waiting room.

Anyone else have PCOS?

I suppose I better get started on the list. I hope to have it all completed before the hubs gets home.
What are your plans for today??

Oh man I hope you feel better. Yeh I also hate when doctors do that, I'd rather them give it to me straight. I have had a couple friends with that problem though. You will be fine. But don't clean too much! Get rest! =) xoxo

I should really write a to-do list...or...follow one, for that matter XD I have my own mountain of laundry to worry about >.>

Sounds like you could do with a long rest instead of having to do that list of chores. Hope the cyst gets sorted out, that sounds painful.

So sorry hun! Wish you didn't feel so bad. Good luck on chores!
I hate it when doctors aren't clear! Mine sometimes gives me meds without ever telling me what I had. I forget to ask and then my mom or husband wants to know what it is and I have no idea! Drives me looney! I wish they would just tell you what you need to know!!!
Hope you get some clarity soon friend!

I have tons to do today as well. And my least favorite chore of all? Organizing my kids rooms. Once it gets all cleaned they come in and destroy it again! Its a never ending cycle!! Ack!
What exactly is PCOS?

Hey, that looks like my house!

I think we're all in that same boat of household drudgery. Let's abandon ship and go out for some "us time"...sound like a plan?

Feel better sweetie!

I HAVE PCOS!!! Remember my posts about diabetes? It's all related to that. Anytime you wanna talk, I'm here! I've had it since I was 17.

I have PCOS too and you know what worked for me? Well I tried Metformin and it made me really sick so I had to quit. The best "remedy" I guess you could say for me to help bring down my insulin levels etc. was actually losing weight. I still have it, but it is not as severe as it was when I was more over weight. {i'm not saying your over weight at all! So I hope you don't take this the wrong way at all} Exercise also helped a lot. I still get cysts on my left side frequently but they don't get as big as they used to. If you have any questions I would be more than happy to answer them:) Hopefully your cyst goes away soon, that can be miserable:(

Ive had that for as long as I can remember. I went for a kidney scan and they discovered 11 cysts on just 1 ovary so I had to get more tests.

It's not really anything major and loads of people have it. I had tumours in the mix along with my cysts and after surgery in 2009 i got an infection that ended up in my womb and I developed seizures and Cfs after.

I'm nOt telling u this to scare you lol far from it. Mine is a really rare case and I have kidney problems on top of that. I'm very very lucky though that I'm not going to die soon.

I just remember really bad period pains. I used to vomit and faint every month when it arrived! Gps can give you some sort of acid that makes the period a lot lighter. Mine was usually 10 days or else every other week. I couldn't take any contraceptives cuz of other issues and the mefanelmic(?!) acid were the best. they made it go from 10 days to 4 days and only 1 heavy day.

You'll b grand once it's properly diagnosed!
